Cosmo Told Us!

Here's what Cosmo told us:  Hey, America: Please stop acting SHOCKED every time an Olympic athlete is a mom http://cosm.ag/60155wGz 

However, I cannot help but to be shocked about a mom of two who is rocking it at the Winter Olympics this year!  Beyonce told us first in her sexy Grammy performance, and then we learn of the dashing mom!  Just because you are a mom doesn't mean that your life is over.  These women are proving that it's just begun.  It definitely makes me want to join in on the motherhood fun one day.  

Side note, why are we so fascinated with moms who can move?  Is it because we think we know how much time and money it takes to be great at that job that we can't focus on what we love at the same time?  I think motherhood is a craft that one learns and becomes good at.  Coming from a house-wife run home, I can attest to the fact that moms who give it their all certainly know how to do more than change diapers and cook a hot meal for their husbands.  They know how to sew, cook, clean, build houses, raise miraculous and meritorious kids, perform at the Grammys and apparently win Olympic Medals.  Thank you Cosmo for recognizing the fact that our view of what a mom can do is a little bit skewed!  GO Noelle Pikus-Pace!  We are so proud to have you representing us at the US Olympics!
