Here Comes the Wedding Crashers

    The summer is over, but wedding season isn't.  Those who were too afraid of being drenched by the sun's violent rays decided to wait until the fall to jump the broom.  No matter the time of the year, most weddings turn out exactly how the bride and groom imagined. The problem is those harmless, yet harmful individuals who stalk weddings all year round, even before the big day.  It is just not right. 

     In 2012 and 2013, I’ve been in my share of weddings. 
Let’s just say, I’m on my way to collecting my 27 dresses. 
I’ve been a maid of honor, and have seen firsthand just how overwhelming the planning up until the big day can get.  However, I must say that the most annoying aspect about the entire wedding planning process are the pestering people who continue to invite themselves to your wedding by any means necessary.  These people will send nonchalant request on old Instagram photos, via Facebook messages or sarcastic remarks on any recent post you’ve made on social media in reference to an invite to your wedding.  It simply becomes pesky.  
 
    If you are one of these people, please be cognizant that someone’s wedding day is the most sacred day of their lives. 
They are making a precious vow before God and their closest family and friends.  Two people who are committed to a livelihood together only seek those at their wedding who've done more than witnessed their love on social networks. 
They want people who've fought just as hard to keep their relationship positive and progressive as the two of them have. 
Rather through prayer or actual interaction, those are the people whom should witness the cohesiveness and sentimental moment of love.  
 
So, wedding crasher, please stop it.
