Refinery29 and Glamour Magazine Feature

I've always loved fashion, but I never knew that I would become a stylist overnight.  It all started in a hotel room- (in typical fashion when myself and Valerie June get together.) 

She began trying on clothes from her super huge traveling bag!  That bag has so many stories and has been so many places its not even funny.  Often times, just a few set outfits are included as Valerie must fit about five instruments and a purse along with it into cars, van, and airplanes across the world.  Of each wardrobe piece in the bag, Valerie mixes and matches to be stage ready every night of the tour!  Nothing she pulled out of the "magical bag"  was working for the likes of Bonnaroo.  So, I pulled out the magical dress from my own bag!  It was a orange steal that I bought from Express for a whopping $10.00 a year ago.  It was a hit immediately.  

My work was done. I earned another title.  I'm not only Valerie June's Social Media Director.  I am her stylist too!  It brought me so much joy to know that my work was featured on Refinery29 (A SUPER COOL BLOG) and on Glamour Magazine's site!
